Smartphones, mobile phones offering advanced, PC-like capabilities such as full keyboards, multimedia, Internet access and software downloads, can be susceptible to viruses.  Viruses spread through e-mail attachments, Internet downloads and Bluetooth transfers.  You can also get a virus on your smartphone from another smartphone. Viruses aren't a big concern now, but they have the potential to be so in the future when Internet access via cell phones is more widespread and smartphone operating systems become more open, like PCs.
